Briefing

Wortell wants to encourage its employees to get the best out of themselves. The brand promise is “We empower people.” UHU was asked the question: How can we let experienced IT professionals understand what Wortell means by its brand promise? And how can we highlight empowerment in this?

Approach

We developed various videos for Wortell for their employer branding marketing campaign, emphasizing the empowerment process. We researched Wortell’s brand promise and what their employees experience.

In the campaign videos, we show that empowerment is different for everyone and that everyone works with their own skills and develops their own strengths. It involves pressing a start button and unlocking your own adventure of empowerment. Here we see that you can overcome complex challenges and are capable of achieving more than you previously thought was possible. The videos are a mix of real-life footage and AI-generated imagery, creating a combination of recognizable challenges in the IT world and nostalgic games.

In the first video, a new employee presses start and learns the organization, rules, interfaces, and working methods step by step. Exactly like a game tutorial where you discover the controls and possibilities. In the second video, collaboration is key, because only with each other’s qualities and skills can the greater goal be achieved. This video pays a tribute to multiplayer (co-op) games.
